Alliance Française d'Adélaïde

The Alliance Française d'Adélaïde was established in 1910 and is an Australian not-for-profit association dedicated to promoting French language and culture, part of the global network of 834 Alliances Françaises in 131 countries. It runs French classes for children, high school students and adults at every level, structured in 2026 as 5 sessions of 9 weeks each, with a free placement test for those with prior knowledge and a free trial class for new adult students. The Alliance is accredited by Community Language Schools SA and the SACE Board of South Australia, and is the official examination centre for DELF, DALF and TCF exams run by the French Ministry of Education; it also runs Adelaide's French Film Festival and cultural events.
