Instituto Cervantes Melbourne (RMIT)

Established by the Spanish government in 1991 and running 88 centres in over 45 countries worldwide, the Instituto Cervantes opened its Melbourne office through a cooperation agreement signed with RMIT University, hosted at RMIT's City campus precinct. It offers general Spanish courses for adults in small groups of 4-12 students, taught by university-qualified native-speaking teachers using up-to-date methodology, entirely in Spanish from day one at every level; students also gain access to the Institute's library and Spanish-as-a-foreign-language resources shared with the Sydney centre. As the newer of Australia's two Cervantes locations, course scheduling and term dates should be confirmed directly, since the local program is still scaling up alongside the long-established Sydney centre.
