Mathnasium of Victoria

Mathnasium of Victoria uses the international Mathnasium Method - personalised learning plans blending mental, verbal, visual, tactile and written techniques - from its McKenzie Avenue location in Saanich. Centre Director Ramanjot Kaur Makker brings a background as a former teacher and school Principal, with a specialised interest in using visual analogies to deconstruct analytical concepts for students of all levels. Multiple published parent stories (including students named Halo and Maddie) describe children moving from struggling with or disliking maths to gaining real confidence and enjoying their sessions; the centre serves grades 2-12 across the Victoria area including Saanich and Langford.
