About University of Manchester LEAP Courses - Italian
The University of Manchester's University Language Centre, based in the Lower Ground Floor of the Samuel Alexander Building, runs LEAP courses offering Italian tuition from beginner to advanced level to students, staff and members of the public aged 18 and above. Undergraduate Italian Studies students receive three contact hours a week (four for absolute beginners) with a nominated mother-tongue teacher, and the Centre itself houses a purpose-built interpreting suite, recording rooms and resources supporting over 70 languages. LEAP courses follow the university's academic calendar, with year-long courses starting in Semester 1 week one and require minimum enrolment numbers to run.
